There are no contraindications to use both medications at the same time. Bethametasone does not help to raise your iron levels but it should help with your pain because it reduces inflammation. I strongly suggest you to consult your rheumatologist or the doctor that has been following your case before taking this medication, since there are other drugs that can be used for longer periods of time and also help with the pain.
